Lexoperia keeps a firm's case files, deadlines, clients, documents and billing together for a Peruvian firm, and brings in notifications from the Poder Judicial, INDECOPI and SUNARP. To do that it signs in to the portals with your credentials, so this page tells you how it does it.

Lexoperia uses your credentials to sign in to the State's portals. These are its rules.

There are six, and you can check them in the official portal or in your own account.

  1. Your credentials are stored encrypted

    To sign in to SINOE, INDECOPI, SUNARP and SUNAT the system needs your firm's credentials. We store them encrypted with AES-256-GCM, separated by firm, and the screen never shows them again. The CEJ asks for no password.

  2. We sign in twice a day

    Automatic syncs run at 05:30 and 17:30 Lima time. If you need something sooner, you press Sync. On the Inicial plan the CEJ does not sync by itself: you look up each case by hand.

  3. What you have not read stays unread

    At SUNARP we bring your notices across without opening them, and in the official portal they still show as unread. Opening them records the official reading date, which can start legal clocks, so the option “Open unread notifications when syncing” comes switched off.

  4. We do not spend your prepaid balance

    In the Servicio de Publicidad Registral we only run the free queries. Paid ones, such as a copia literal, you request and pay for yourself at SUNARP. Lexoperia shows you the balance and tells you when it runs low.

  5. We prepare the receipt, you issue it

    Lexoperia fills in the recibo por honorarios with the case and client data and saves it as a draft. You issue it yourself at SUNAT. SUNAT does not feed your notifications inbox either.

  6. The review deadline is internal

    SINOE and SUNARP carry no response date. So their notices create an internal review deadline 2 business days out, and you check the legal term in the cédula yourself. A legal deadline is only created when the institution reports a response date, as INDECOPI does.

Two limits worth knowing as well

Client links
The client portal is read-only. Each link works until you revoke it. It does not expire by itself, so you have to cut it when the case ends.
The calendar
The hearings and meetings you record are created in your Google Calendar or Outlook. Events from those calendars are only displayed in Lexoperia, and deadlines never leave for your external calendar.

What protects your account

All of this comes with every plan. Your rights over personal data, under Law 29733, are set out in the privacy policy.

AES-256-GCM
Encrypts your portal credentials. The firm's documents are kept separately, in our provider's storage.
TLS
Protects the connection between your browser and Lexoperia.
2FA
Each user can turn on two-factor verification.
Roles
What each user sees and does depends on their role.
Audit log
Records actions such as uploading or deleting a document. Opening a document is not recorded.
